How to wear camo print in 2024
How did camo become one of the coolest trends for 2024?
Not just for the military and hunting now, over the last two years, camo has been creeping into coolness again. It started slowly with the 2020 y2k revival, then in 2023 Louis Vuitton released their viral “damouflage” print down the runways, and the print really piqued the fashion world’s interest.
Now in 2024 we are seeing an explosion in popularity of the print.
As a street style photographer, I have spotted camo here and there at fashion weeks the past few seasons, but the print is really dominating the festival style scene and I predict will gather even more momentum as this fashion season begins. A great example is the popularity of the Chappell Roan Midwest Prince hat with its now iconic orange lettering on camo print. A quick tour around stores in SoHo lately showed many camo pieces for sale and I’m sure will increase with popularity as we head into fall. I think the tones of camo also compliment nicely with forecasted fall color trends like olive and khaki.
